The Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dr. Dritan Abazović, joined today's March 8 march, which was organized by the Center for Women's Rights on the occasion of March 8, International Women's Day. Absolute support for the women of Montenegro in the sense that we should all contribute to the overall equality and justice in our society much more significantly incorporated. I appreciate today's gathering also because of today's topic, which is especially justified due to the events in the previous period. I accept criticism for the institutions of the system and I think that it is our obligation to have more fun with sanctioning femicide, ie introducing femicide as another criminal offense in the Criminal Code. The obligation of the new government will be, among other things, to increase sanctions in relation to domestic violence and to create conditions for women's equality to be felt much more than it is now, said the Deputy Prime Minister in a press statement. This year's March 8 march is dedicated to the fight against femicide, in memory of women who lost their lives due to partner violence.
